Samanta has 30 years of experience in Human Resources, having led key HR processes with a strong focus on Talent Management, Organizational Development, Succession Planning, Strategic Compensation & Benefits, Expatriate Management, Productivity, and Labor Relations. Samanta has played a prominent role in organizational transformation, serving as a Business Partner on projects involving mergers and acquisitions, divestment of strategic assets, judicial recovery processes, and launching start‑ups. 

Prior to joining Vale, she held strategic and leadership positions at large national and multinational companies across diverse industries, including mining (MMX Mineração e Metálicos), Logistics (LLX), Energy (MPX), Oil & Gas (Diamond Offshore and Baker Hughes), Telecommunications (Vésper and Oi), and Trade & Services (CNC). 

Samanta holds a degree in Languages from UFRJ, an Executive MBA from COPPEAD and FGV, a specialization in Talent Management from The Wharton School, and a postgraduate degree in Education and Human Resources Development from UFRJ. She has also completed several executive programs at leading national and international institutions. Samanta is recognized for her ability to lead high-performance teams through transformation projects, negotiate in complex environments, and sustain results under pressure—always aligning with the organization’s strategy and culture.
