My subscribe/access policy is pretty basic, I think, but as most of my stuff is locked I thought I should have a holding post for people to comment on and so forth. I like to know a wee bit about the people I let into my flocked entries but I do friend people I'm friendly with! If a post is unlocked I welcome comments on it (within the usual do-not-be-an-asshole parameters) which is as good a way as any to get to know me. Personal stuff is mostly locked, fandom stuff is mostly not, posts that are a mixture (and we do things old style around here) will be more likely locked than not. The 2020s have mostly been a personal fucking trashfire, honestly, although work has been a solid success and I've learned to drive in the half-decade, so it hasn't been a total loss. I'm working towards 2026 being about some level of personal growth, but that was also the plan for 2025, so if it's just calmly chill then I'll be quite happy with that.
My journal is the place I come to babble about life and talk about fannish things, if I'm feeling fannish. I've been in Bandom for approximately a million years at this point (FoB and MCR flavour) and came from the mines of SPN (therefore there is nothing in fandom that frightens me, I was in SPN from season 1. I have no time for boring shenanigans or judgy weans, my fucks have run out). The Last of Us (TV) season one grabbed me, but it hasn't lasted and I find myself in a very light fandom space once again
I am Ermengarde on AO3. I also exist on Bluesky and Instagram (I cannot with Mastodon or Discord, I've discovered). HMU if you want to connect on those.
I write - intermittently at best, but I've been doing it for a long time at this point - and am also fandom old enough to solidly understand why a transformative works policy is a Good Thing (tm). Mine is at the bottom of this post.
My fic is more gen than not, and more slightly peculiar premis than not (MCR are Pineapple Farmers? why not?, or Children in 1930s England? Sure. And Adam Lambert definitely has a possessed bear in his freezer. Most writers leave their ID on show somewhere, but I really don't know what mine says about me.
TRANSFORMATIVE WORKS POLICY
Most of my work is archive members only, but works linking to it don't have to be
Blanket permission (with links back to the original story and please eventually let me know so I can boast about it) is given for: PodFic, Remixes, Expansions in the same universe, Craft/Arts of any flavour, Music mixes/Playlists.
Please don't: translate my work or host my work elsewhere. Thank you. I've been burned with translations before, so unless we've shared a bathroom then I'm afraid I don't know you well enough for that (if we've shared a bathroom then I do, give me a yell :)).
