His date is just a friend, although he would like her to be more & they dated awhile last year…

Babies, prom, busy…
Our weekend was just as busy as predicted.
Perhaps a tad bit more so.
This precious little bundle decided to come into the world this weekend…
Meeting Eva Joy…
Ben’s a great “step” dad to my sister’s 4 older children, this is his first time to be a baby’s dad! He’s pretty proud!

After prom…
James is visiting Bethel College today.
The plan at this point, is that they have offered him a scholarship to run track there next year. If all goes well, he should be “signing” with them tomorrow!

After… After Prom…
20 years ago, my parents were a part of a committee that started an awesome tradition at our high school… After Prom!
A safe, healthy, awesome activity for kids to do after the prom. Who knew, I’d be there taking part as a parent one day! (you sure don’t think that day will come when you are in HS!)
The decorations were incredible!
The food was amazing!
The prizes were unbelievable! (James didn’t win any though) And the games were hilarious!
The game I worked was Twister… (that red thing is James)
It was so fun! Fun to see them having fun! I didn’t even feel like it was 3 in the morning when I left!
Some of the answers to your questions from their prom pictures… Yes, that is the same girl, Alisen, that he has been dating. And went to the last formal dance with. Yes, she got her hair cut and colored. (officially they both have bleached hair, if you count the sun in James used in Florida!)
They had a very nice time. Tired, of course. That’s all part of it! I thought you might enjoy these too…
