The entire state of #Illinois is under an #extremeheat warning. This isn't just "summer weather." It signals that everyone is at increased risk for heat-related illnesses. Limit time outdoors, keep your home cool, and visit a cooling center if your home isn't cool enough. #ILWx

All of Illinois is either under a heat advisory or an extreme heat watch. This kind of weather can cause heat illnesses or even be fatal. Plan ahead to stay cool, and visit a cooling center, mall, or large store if your home isn't keeping you cool enough. keepcool.illinois.gov

Extreme heat for one day is one thing. To have it for three or more days especially dangerous because the body doesn't get a break. Stay cool this week! And check out where local #coolingcenters are located, and what hours they are open. keepcool.illinois.gov #ILWx #HeatSafety
