Diwali Prep and Dandiya night

I went out with my husband to attend a friend's birthday party. It was fun dining eight friends together followed by water and beer fight :)
Today we have plan to attend Dandiya function in evening. I hate dressing up for such occasion but still I am looking forward to this gathering.
Oh yes I finally resumed gyming with RD with time. It feels great working out.  I will also be learning swimming soon.
After praying for so long finally it is raining today. Rain simply adds smile on my face. I feel like having nice coffee.
Current status : 1, 2, 3 Check-
a) Oiled my hair with coconut hair (missed mom as she always use to oil my hair)
b) Applied Aloe vera (wo bhi Ramdev baba ka, lol...) in my face.
Saturday always feels like self pampering. Bubble bath in tub, followed by home made hair treatment, facial adding some nice movies with my husband.
My mother in law made pan cake. Thought it didn't come out how I know what pan cake looks like, it was still very nice of her to make pan cake for me for the first time. I know it is not fair, instead I should be cooking for her. That time will also come soon ;
My sister is law will be joining us for Diwali so planning for nice Rangoli this time. Though I am very bad in art, I will be helping her to fill the outlines with colours.
Apart from normal Diyas, candles and firecrackers if you guys have some other Diwali decoration ideas please share with me.
Oh yes RD's Bday is nearing. Its on 23rd September. I am still not able to come up with good idea to surprise him. Please help me.

Finally ..

 

It’s been 8 years but butterflies in my stomach still exist. I still die to hear him say the golden words "I love you". The talks are getting longer every night. With each passing day the wait seems to be longer. It feels like time has stopped and even kicking the hands of clock won’t help.
We are getting engaged on 23rd November.
It will be a small function but a big step in our lives, two family union. I am so excited. In between RD had come to meet me. My mom introduces him to my Grand-Dad saying “ye aapka chota jawai hai” (this is your younger son-in-law). Grand Dad started with his small interview session and RD was patiently replying all the questions darted on him. Mom teased RD with best wishes for interview
After he left Grand Dad was so pleased to inform my Dad that he really liked RD. He said I am lucky to have such a handsome and good man and family. All is going good and I am dying to meet him again. He is been so busy these days but we end up talking most of the nights.
On the other hand my elder sister (Shweta Di) is getting married on 9th Dec. Dance practises are going on for Di’s wedding. RD and I are planning to perform a duet dance.
I left B’lore and now back home. It feels really great. I am enjoying yummy home food and feeling of being in family feels great with new add-on this time. Diwali was awesome. I was busy with Diya decoration. This time departing from B’lore wasn’t that excruciating because I was so excited for my sister’s wedding. Anil Sawan came to drop me in airport early morning. It was really sweet of him to come to airport directly from work.

How was your Diwali plan guys? I feel sad for al those who have been celebrating away form home. I too was away from home but had gone  to Rahul’s house. He got loads of crackers but  missed my sister, cuz she makes awesome Rangoli, missed mom for decorating the house so beautifully all lighted up with Diyas, Will miss Buddy , my Biatch who barks on each fire cracker’s Sound. Dad, bro and Grandpa as well. last Diwali was in wheel chair, This Diwali I busted crackers and enjoyed … :D

P.S. this time i didn't realise when 7th October passed away, yes guys its been two years for my accident and i am so glad i made it so far. Wish me luck for my surgery in December  and before that exams on 6th  Dec.

Updates On Movies..

Well i heard Blue is sad. I thought i might be something Hatke but who ever watched it said it was stupid. I don't know personally how it is, but i think i am bunking the idea to watch this movie. I still have kaminey to watch in my list.

Cosmo Updates- October issue took so long to publish, generally gets issued within first week of every month but this time it published around 15th, guess why? it was a publication of huge edition, it was like 3 Cosmo =1. Ahh it was awesome paying RS 100 and getting that thick edition.

What’s with Dan Brown-

Rahul bhaiya has ebook of Dan brown’s Recent book, what was it? The lost Symbol?? i have to ask him to email me but i have exams coming up and i am so freaked.

Did u say Chetan Bhagat?

He too is coming out with a new book, i don't know the name :| I tired goggling I couldn't find it, read it in newspaper somewhere.

I am also freaked with the idea that Harshita is in UK. I had no clue she was planning for UK. i hope she has fun and doesn't get irritated fast. What happened when i called Peter in Diwali?

I called up Peter’s number to wish him Happy Diwali and guess what i dialled a wrong number. Without realising and guess if i dialled the right number i screamed on the Phone “happyyyyyyy Diwali Peter” and what i hear is “Petere?? Petere?? i realised the voice was not peter’s I hung up :|” Diwali ke din bhi wrong Number Ufff….
