The Getting Started checklist

Every new account gets a Getting Started checklist, reachable any time from the dashboard. It tracks three required steps, then opens up the rest of vitelnk once they're done.

SettingWhat it does
Upload your first videoClick the **Upload Video** button to get started.
Add a Call-to-ActionOpen your video → **CTA** tab → add a button or link.
Share your videoOpen your video → **Share** tab → toggle the link active and copy it.

Steps tick off automatically as you complete them — there's nothing to mark done by hand. Finished steps drop to the bottom of the list so the next thing to do is always on top.

💡 Once all three required steps are done, the checklist reorders itself: Explore other vitelnk features moves to the top, and your completed setup moves below it as a record of what you've finished.

The panel sits in the bottom-right corner of your dashboard. Click its header to collapse it, or Dismiss to shrink it down to a small icon — a rocket while setup is in progress, a compass once you're done. Click that icon any time to bring the full checklist back.

Watch the demo walkthrough
1
Open the Getting Started checklist from your dashboard.
2
At the top, click Watch demo under "Want to see the demo walkthrough?"
3
The video expands inline — a short tour of uploading a video, sharing it, and tracking who watched.
4
Click Hide video to collapse it again.
💡 The same walkthrough appears once as a welcome modal the first time you land on your dashboard. Dismiss it and it won't show again — but it's always available from the Getting Started checklist.
Upload a video
1
Go to your Dashboard and click Upload Video (or drag a file onto the page).
2
Choose a file from your computer. Supported formats: MP4, MOV, MKV, AVI, WebM.
3
Wait for processing to finish — vitelnk encodes your video to HLS for adaptive streaming. You'll see a progress bar. Large files may take a few minutes.
4
Once processed, the video card appears in your dashboard. Click it to open the video detail page.
💡 You can upload multiple videos at once from the dashboard. Each is processed independently in the background.
