Space Derby night with the Cub Scouts

Bridger just joined cub scouts 2 weeks ago. Tonight they had their Space Derby contest. He was very proud of his space ship painted in "Huskies" colors. Purple and Gold.

 It was a lot of fun tonight. Dylan got 1st place and Bridger got 2nd place. By only inches. (which was good for Bridger not to win, what would he have to look forward too) 

Happy 8th Birthday Bridger

Today was Bridger's 8th birthday. We were going to celebrate with friends only every other year but, he gets invited to so many friends parties, they were all asking when his was. We were sorry that his friend Riley was  out of town today. I had a coupon for Alfy's Pizza where one of Kyler's friends works so that's where we had his party. They all had fun. 

 From the left clockwise. Matt, Isaac A, Isaac V and Kellan. 

 Andrew, Bridger, Kaleb, Caden and Javin. 

 Isaac A has been in K, 1st and 2nd grade with Bridger. 

 Twins. Kellan is in Bridger's class this year and last year. Javin was in Bridger's class when they were in Kindergarten two years ago.  

 Isaac V and Andrew V both from Bridger's primary class at church. 

 Caden and Bridger play basketball together and are in 2nd grade together.

 They have so much fun together. 

 I really don't think Bridger could be any happier. 

 Kaleb and Bridger play soccer and coach pitch together and against each other in basketball. They are also in 2nd grade together. (Kalebs dad use to be the principal at the boys school)

 Bridger and Matt were in 1st grade together. He moved away (still in the same town but not at the same school anymore)

 Matt, Bridger and Isaac A. 

 Isaac A is allergic to nuts and dairy. As I was making the cupcakes I realized the cake mix had milk in it. So I brought Isaac a big blob of homemade butter cream frosting. (it has no dairy in it, even though its called butter cream)

 Kimber and Kenna (who I don't know why I only have her in the group picture) had a blast with all the boys!

 It was a spongebob themed party.

I cant believe its been 8 years ago today that you were born. 

Soccer game on a boys birthday, just make him happy!

Today is Bridger's 8th birthday. It was also his second to last soccer game and I finally brought the camera. It also happened to be a beautiful day in the Pacific Northwest. Which for November is a miracle in itself. haha

Bridger plays goalie a lot and loves it. But really, if I do say so myself and this is my blog so I will, he plays really well in all the other positions. Here he is at the beginning of the game playing goalie. 

 Not sure if he was board or stretching but it is funny looking. 

 These next 5 shots are great. Great form and great facial expressions. I love that he loves it.

 Where did he learn to use his body to stop the ball. He is all boy!

 The kids on both teams are all about the same age. Bridger is just bigger. 

 These next two shots are great. The boy behind him, is Luke and he went to preschool for two years with Bridger. Its fun to meet up again, even if we are on different teams. 

 One of their friends in their class at school plays on a different team. He was playing at the same time at the same school (on a different field) so after he came over to say hi to all the boys and they dog piled on him and screamed like teenage girls finding a mall out in the middle of now where. 

 What a great group of boys (and those not showed) I hope they are friends all through school. (great parents also)
