In less than 2 months our area has buried 6 officers, in the line of duty. Today was a man who went to the same jr high and high school as I did. I didn't know him personally but it really hits home. Kimber was at school but Kyler, Bridger and I met my sister Kandi downtown to watch the processional go from the Fair Grounds to the Tacoma Dome.
If you know our area, both the gold gate parking lot and the blue gate parking lot were packed full of police, fire and ambulances. ALL with their lights on (my unprofessional photo skills don't do the sights today justice) it truly brought tears to my eyes.
