Kalaloch part 4

If theres sand, my kids will be making sand castles.
Image If theres something little (like rocks or shells, just like her mom, she likes little things) Kimber will be picking them up.

ImageWe had lots of beach campfires
ImageBeautiful scenery
Imagewe have a big head joke in our family. Check out my big ol' head compared to Candy's. DANG. No wonder Kimber's head is so darn big.
ImageThey had to get in some more wave chasing.

ImageAlot of the "H" family doesn't like to go to Kalaloch because of poor cell phone reception or no wireless laptops but for me, esp this year, with all the hospitals and doctor visits, it was a much needed week away from it all and I so enjoyed every minute of it. We cant wait for next year

Kalaloch part 3, Dam and Tree

One of Craig and Candy's family traditions is building "the Dam" so this is our 2nd year at it. Theres this little stream that runs into the ocean and they dam it off and then break the dam. Alot of fun and very educational. Here's Bridger and Tyler
Image Bridger and Kimber getting into it.

ImageKyler was crawling around on the rocks above the stream trying to dam it off further above them all. He was sure he saw a snake down in those rocks (he was also sure he saw a bear a few days later)

ImageCraig "tried" to get Bridger and Kimber to get down in the hole but they wanted nothing to do with it.
ImageWe made a stop along side the highway at a scenic spot where there were some"BIG"Cedar trees.

Kalaloch part 1

We arrived at Kalaloch on a Monday and left on a Friday and I took over 500 pictures on T, W and Th. Here is our camp area. The weather was pretty nice, it didn't rain on us until the last morning when we were packing up.

ImagePoked a stick in and roasted over the fire.
ImageBridger loved eating the fish right on the beach.
ImageAnother thing we all love to do is let the waves chase us.

Good Bye to Craig, Candy and Tyler

Craig (Kevins brother) his wife Candy and their youngest son Tyler all fly home to Texas tomorrow morning. We headed over to Baba's after dinner to say good bye to them.
Image We couldn't say good bye without cupcakes.
Image German Chocolate cupcakes with pale pink butter cream frosting. Some had silver sprinkles and some had white. (oh and Dora cupcake papers, hehe)
Image We always have a very nice time when they are here........camping and visiting. Its so nice of them to spend a few weeks of their vacation time every year up here with all of us. I hope/wish some day we can make it down to Texas.
