H@ckgresh (also known as BarOS 10 (H@ckgresh) in My menu and Game progress) is a special BarOS system introduced in 0.8450. It is similar to BarOS 10, but it runs on a Progress Computer instead of a Progresh.[1]

In order to have the ability to unlock this system, the player must do the following instructions:

  1. Unlock the latest mainline BarOS system, currently BarOS 15.
  2. Restart the system.
  3. Wait in the initial boot menu for 12 seconds.

If the player has followed these instructions in the correct order, H@ckgresh should have been unlocked.

Trivia[]

  • This system seems to be a reference to modders illegally installing macOS on non-Apple hardware, also known as Hackintosh.
    • This is because of the H@ckgresh computer icon resembling that of a Progress Computer.
  • Despite this system being BarOS 10 on a Progress Computer at first glance, there are several differences compared to it:
    • There are Progressbar game modes instead of BarOS ones.
    • The hardware that is used in Progressbar systems is used instead of Progresh computers.
    • The system version is different from the regular BarOS 10: bh10.0.
      • This might imply that this system is actually a version of BarOS 10 optimized to run on Progress Computers.
    • The Browser icon, entitled "ico32_browser2.png", is re-used from Progressbar 81.
