whaaa happened?

since i'm halfway through a doctor-imposed, not much activity with the right-arm two-week stretch, i spent much of the weekend in Monterey doing some yardwork and things around the house and honed my left handed skills.

we had a busy day on saturday - pulled weeds, attempted to trap some gophers, set some stones in the front walkway, and i helped my dad build a box to cover a new water shutoff valve. i have to say that i'm not much for hammering, let alone hammering with my left hand, but at least it kept my dad from doing the hammering.

i watched "there will be bl00d" - possibly one of the worst movies i've ever seen. at least the parts of "gymkata" that i saw were so bad that i could laugh at them. this one was just....ugh. i was going to stop watching but had already invested more than an hour in it, hoping it'd get better, so i had to see it through. if your movie taste is anything like mine, don't bother with this flick!

i am expecting season 1 of "her0es" in the mail this week...woo! i've heard nothing but good things, so i'm excited.

not sure what my hockey status is for the rest of the season. hopefully i'll get to my mri recap tonight.
