What is the PostNext asset library?

A cloud media library that stores images, videos and GIFs you reuse across posts. Upload PNG, JPG, WebP, MP4 and GIF files once, sort into folders, add tags, and pull them into post drafts on any supported platform. Storage scales with plan: 10GB Premium, 50GB Business, 10GB per user Teams.

Which file types can I upload?

Images: PNG, JPG and WebP. Videos: MP4. Animated: GIF. These cover what every supported platform (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok) accepts, so an asset uploaded once works on any channel without re-encoding. Other formats are not supported in the library at the moment.

How much storage do I get on each plan?

Premium includes 10GB. Business includes 50GB. Teams includes 10GB per user, pooled across the workspace, so a five-seat Teams plan has 50GB total. The free plan and the 7-day trial both come with library access on the same file types, so you can test with real files before paying.

How do folders and tags differ?

Folders are a single home for an asset - one file, one folder, like a desktop. Tags are labels that cross folders: an MP4 in the 'Q3 launch' folder can also carry the tags 'demo', 'feature-walkthrough' and 'product'. Use folders to group by client or campaign, and tags for topics, formats or status that span groups.

Can I search the library?

Yes. Search across the library by file name, tag or folder and the matching images, videos and GIFs come up in one view. Search runs from the library page and from inside the post composer, so you can find an asset while drafting without leaving the post.

Can I reuse an asset across multiple posts?

Yes - that is the point of the library. Upload an MP4, PNG or GIF once and attach it to as many posts as you want, on any supported platform (LinkedIn, X, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, TikTok). Reuse does not consume extra storage; one upload, many posts.

Can my team share the same library?

On the Teams plan, yes. Every seat in the workspace draws from the same pooled library and the same pooled storage (10GB per user, so five seats = 50GB shared). Uploads, folders and tags created by one teammate are visible to the rest of the workspace.

What happens if I hit my storage limit?

New uploads are blocked once you reach the limit (10GB Premium, 50GB Business, 10GB per user Teams). Existing assets keep working in posts. To free space, delete files you no longer need or move up a tier - Premium to Business adds 40GB, Business to Teams shifts to a per-seat allowance that scales with the team.
