Admin, Editor, Viewer Roles for Social Teams

Move drafts from idea to publish: editors write, reviewers comment in-line, admins approve, viewers track the calendar.

Teams Using PostNext Collaboration

Marcus Taylor

"Twelve writers across four time zones lost drafts in email threads. With admin, editor, viewer roles plus the four-stage workflow, every caption passes through review. The audit log caught 23 brand-tone misses last quarter."

Emily Davis

"Writers, designers, and managers comment on the same draft in-line instead of looping through email. @mentions surface the right reviewer; version history shows what changed. Time from idea to published post dropped from 4 days to 1."

Robert Anderson

"Running an agency with freelancers in three countries, role restrictions per brand keep each contractor on their own client. The audit log resolved a recent client dispute in minutes, showing exactly who approved which draft."

Team Collaboration: Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about roles, approvals, comments, and the Teams tier.

How much does the Teams tier cost?

Teams is €4 per user per month with a 5-user minimum, billed monthly or annually. Each workspace covers 6 platforms. Start with a 7-day trial; no card required.

What can each role do?

Admin: full access to billing, members, brands, drafts. Editor: draft, comment, request changes, publish approved posts on assigned brands. Viewer: read-only on drafts, calendar, analytics.

How does the approval workflow work?

Turn on in settings. Posts move through draft, review, approved, published. Reviewers clear a queue with comment, request-changes, or approve. Each transition logged with user and timestamp.

Can reviewers leave comments on a draft?

Yes. Click any draft to comment in-line on caption, image, or schedule. Tag with @mention to notify a teammate. Replies thread; resolve once addressed. Comments persist through publish.

Where are shared brand assets stored?

The workspace library holds brand assets, caption templates, and the calendar shared across editors. Tag by brand, campaign, or content type. Templates speed up repeat post structures.

Does PostNext keep version history per draft?

Yes. Each edit is saved with editor name and timestamp. Compare two versions side by side or revert to an earlier draft. History persists after publish.

Can a freelancer see only one client's brand?

Yes. Restrict any role to specific brand profiles. Freelancer A sees only Client 1; admins see every brand. Cross-client posting is blocked at the role level.

What happens when a teammate leaves?

Admins deactivate the account. Access ends immediately; their drafts, comments, and approvals stay attached for the audit trail. Reassign pending drafts. Reactivate if they rejoin.
