Today was my very first mother's day. I was emotional...I cried reading all my cards, cried when putting Jayne to bed after Jared mentioned that I may only have 17 more mother's days with her until she goes to college. Wow, that seems like such a short time when put that way! Jayne gave me a wonderful present and slept an extra 45 minutes this morning...thank you baby girl! I received beautiful roses, tulips and the Vera Bradley diaper bag I so desperately wanted from my hubby and tomorrow I'm getting an 1.5 hr massage. *Sigh* I am so blessed to be loved so much for doing my "job". I am a Momma and feel like I was born to be. Yes, I loved my job in marketing/sales, but this is where I feel comfortable, safe, happy, needed, wanted. The best job in the world and I am so blessed to be able to stay home and do it.
Saturday we took Jayne to the pool for the first time. The water was a little chilly, but she got over it quickly and had fun splashing with daddy!
We had a wonderful weekend...thanks to my sweet baby girl and my wonderful hubby for making me feel so special today!
