Sweet Sissy turned 4 months old today!!! (and today is her Grandma Jeanee's 60th birthday and my parents 33rd wedding anniversary...holla!!)
But back to my sweet baby. Has it really been four months since she blessed this family? I don't want to forget these moments. Yes, some are hard, but mostly I am just grateful for her presence in our lives. Here are a few things I never want to forget...
- She is super happy...she smiles ALL.THE.TIME
- She only cries when she is hungry or overly tired
- She has to have her blanket and bunny with her in bed. This scares me. We didn't give Jayne either until she was over 9 months old. I do take the blanket from her at night since her favorite thing to do is pull it over her head! Some times she throws the blanket out of the swing or towards the end of hr crib and will cry until I give it back to her, then she'll fall right back to sleep.
- She wakes up at 7am, goes back to sleep at 730am until I wake her at 1030am...takes a 30 min nap around 1130am and then will nap from 2-4pm and then back to sleep for the night at 7pm
- She loves Jayne...watches her every move and laughs more at her than anything else
- Nurses great and after boycotting bottles for three weeks, will now take a bottle every night for me (this allows us to know she is going to bed with a full belly!!)
- She sucks her left thumb or her right two fingers...this is when I know she is sleepy!
- She is doing great sitting in the bumbo or excersaucer but still doesn't like tummy time
- She still spits up quite a bit!
We love you Sissy-nana!!!
Tonight is Jayne's first night in her "big girl" bed!! We decided to test the waters, but we are keeping the crib up just in case she isn't quite ready for this. We brought the top mattress up from our guest room and if she does well we will buy her a full bed.
She was super excited about it until Jared & I walked out of the room. She lost it and kept saying "no no no" but she didn't try to get out of the bed. Its now an hour past bedtime and she is finally asleep. She really did great. Hopefully this wont affect the time she wakes up in the morning!
My girls are getting so big!!
