Neighborhood Easter Hunt

We live in a fabulous neighborhood. I love our neighbors and we have many fun events for families. Saturday morning the neighborhood hosted an Easter egg hunt and brunch for all the families. It was a lot of fun. There was probably 70+ families in attendance.

Even Savannah got into the action. She grabbed two eggs, one in each hand, and was good to go!

Jared had a great idea and moved the girls to the far end of the sidewalk... luckily he did and they actually got some eggs!

My neighbor called me up last week and asked if I wanted to go garage saling Saturday morning with her. Spring & Fall are the best times for garage sales and I of course said yes! Unfortunately we woke up to rain but still decided to head out. And I'm glad we did...

I had been looking for a cookbook holder for a LONG time...they are expensive.
But I got this baby for $2 =)

 Easter decor for $.50

I wish I had taken a before shot, but I am getting into paper crafting and just created my own special space and needed something to showcase my work and ideas. I found old cork board for $2 and recovered it with leftover fabric/ribbon...and my perfect space was finished. Below is my desk area...amid the kiddos toys too!

Dress up shoes for Jayne...$.50 each

I joined a stamp club (paper crafting) and have been searching for used stamps to save money. At one house we went to an old Stampin' Up demonstrator was selling stamps and other items and I found these.
Made my day!

And I found a punch...its older but still works and will hold me over until I purchase a new one in this shape. Great for making present tags!

I've been looking for these lighted branches but didn't want to pay full price ($20-30 each) and was elated to find these for $5. Can't wait until Christmas =)

I also found some fall/winter clothes & shoes for Jayne and a couple cute tops for myself.
I love garage sale season =)
