LaunchList is pre-launch waitlist software for founders. You collect signups before launch, then turn each one into a channel for the next: every person who joins gets a referral link, and moving up the queue is the reason they share it.

It is one product with many parts, and you can use any of them on their own. Everything below is available today.

The pieces you build with#

The hosted launch page. Every project gets a public page at a URL you choose, built in a visual editor from finished sections that share one theme and your brand. It is server-rendered, so Google can index it, and if you have no website yet, this is your website. Put it on your own domain with automatic SSL when you are ready.

Embeddable forms and widgets. The same signup form dropped into a site you already have: Carrd, Framer, Webflow, WordPress, plain HTML or your own React app. A form can collect email, phone, username or nothing at all, with 14 field types, conditional logic and multi-step flows. Standalone widgets drop a live signup counter, referral leaderboard or countdown anywhere.

Referrals. Each signup receives a referral code, a share link and a live queue position. Referring people moves you up, and credit is granted only after the new signup verifies their email when you ask them to, so the queue cannot be gamed. You decide what unlocks at which position with rewards and milestones, a leaderboard, and points for social or custom tasks.

Email. Broadcasts to your audience and automations that fire on real events: someone joined, someone verified, someone hit three referrals. Send from your own verified sending domain with SPF, DKIM and DMARC aligned, one-click unsubscribe and a compliant footer built in.

The API and webhooks. Anything the dashboard does, your code can do. Capture signups from your own backend, push them into a CRM, or react to events as they happen with signed, retried webhook deliveries.

What you do with your audience#

Every signup lands in a real, deduplicated database built for millions of rows, and the work of a launch happens on top of it.

Manage. Filter, tag and build segments on any signal (status, source, referrals, geography, survey answers), and move people through a funnel you define with pipeline stages (waitlist to invited to joined to converted, or your own). Import an existing list from Waitlister, GetWaitlist, Prefinery, KickoffLabs or Viral Loops with the referral graph preserved, and export any slice as CSV, free, forever.

Trust. Every signup gets a spam check and a trust verdict (Verified, Valid, Unknown, Risky or Fake) that keeps recomputing to catch device-farms over time, so your numbers mean something. Fraud protection is on every plan, free included.

Release. When you are ready to let people in, invite them one at a time or a cohort at a time with personal, shared or open access codes. Track whether access was delivered, accepted and used, and hand access straight into your own product through the API rather than a hosted claim page.

Measure. Launch analytics track signups, your growth curve, viral coefficient (K-factor), top referrers and where every signup came from, each compared with the period before, plus up to three things worth doing next.

AI, built in#

AI page creation. Ask for a change to your launch page in plain language, or describe your product in one sentence and have a new page written for you, in the same editor you would use by hand.

Ask LaunchList. Press Cmd-K (Ctrl-K on Windows and Linux) anywhere in the dashboard to jump to any page or ask a question and get an answer in place, with the sources it used.

Both are free during beta.

Connect it to everything#

Beyond the API and webhooks, LaunchList exposes an MCP server so an AI assistant like Claude or ChatGPT can read and run your project in plain language, with per-agent consent you can review and revoke. Invite your team with roles and permissions, and run public pages and lifecycle emails across 17 locales.

How the objects fit together#

Workspace your account, and what gets billed
└─ Project one product or launch
├─ Form a set of fields people fill in
├─ Page the hosted launch page
└─ Contact a person on the list

A workspace is the billing boundary and the thing you invite teammates into. Inside it, a project is one launch. Everything else belongs to a project.

A contact is a deduplicated person, identified by email, phone, username, wallet address, a custom scalar of your own, or nothing at all. LaunchList does not assume everyone has an email address. Each time someone fills in a form you get a submission, and submissions collapse onto the contact they belong to. See core concepts for the full model.

Getting to your first signup#

  1. Sign up and a workspace, project, form and page are created for you.
  2. Publish the page, or embed the form in a site you already have.
  3. Share the link. Signups appear in Audience as they arrive.
  4. Tune referrals. Every signup already gets a link; under Audience → Referrals & rewards, set what a friend is worth in Settings (Friends give points) and add rewards.

What happens to every signup#

Whether it arrives from the hosted page, an embed, or the API, a signup runs the same pipeline:

  • Deduplication against your existing contacts, with addresses canonicalized first so common misspellings do not create a second person.
  • A trust verdict rating each signup from verified down to fake, so your numbers mean something.
  • Referral credit to whoever sent them, withheld automatically if the signup looks fraudulent.
  • Verification email, if you have it switched on.
  • Events that fire your webhooks and automations.

Capture is unconditional: a signup is never refused because of your plan's limits. If your list grows past its size, the contacts past it are saved but hidden until you move up a size, never deleted. Which plan includes which feature is on plans and billing.

Common questions

What is LaunchList?

LaunchList is pre-launch waitlist software for founders, also called waiting list software. It combines a hosted launch page, embeddable signup forms, a viral referral system with queue positions and rewards, a real audience database, email campaigns and automations, beta invitations, analytics and a REST API.

Do I need a website to use LaunchList?

No. Every project gets a hosted launch page at a public URL, so you can start collecting signups without a site of your own. If you do have one, embed the form into it instead.

How does the referral system work?

Every signup gets a unique referral code and link. When someone joins through that link the referrer moves up the queue, and you can attach rewards to specific positions or referral counts.

Can I email my waitlist and invite people to a beta?

Yes. Send broadcasts and event-triggered automations from your own sending domain, and when you are ready, release access with personal, shared or open invite codes, or hand access straight into your own app through the API.

Does LaunchList have AI?

Yes. The page editor has an assistant that changes your launch page when you ask in plain language, and can write a new page from one sentence. You can also press Cmd-K anywhere to ask a question and get an answer with sources. Both are free during beta.
