Webflow waitlist app with referrals

The LaunchList app for Webflow adds your waitlist form from the Designer as a real Webflow form, so it looks like the rest of your site. It adds no code to your published site. It can also send the signups of a Webflow form you already built to LaunchList.

Set up

Set it up in 4 steps

These are the steps once the LaunchList app is in the Webflow Apps marketplace. Until then, Webflow lets no other workspace install it.

  1. Connect your site.

Link your Webflow site to LaunchList once, from Embed & API in LaunchList.

  2. Open it in the Designer.

Open LaunchList from the apps in the Webflow Designer.

  3. Add your form.

Select where it should go, choose your LaunchList form and what happens after a signup, and click Add form. To send a form you already built instead, select it, match its inputs to your LaunchList form's fields, and click Send to LaunchList.

  4. Publish and sign up once.

Join with your own email and watch the signup arrive. The Webflow setup guide covers every click and every fix.

Two ways to use LaunchList on Webflow

The LaunchList app is coming soon to the Webflow Apps marketplace. Once it is listed, it gives you two ways:

  • Add a LaunchList form. The one to start with. The app builds a Webflow form from your LaunchList form's fields, and you restyle it like any form on your site. After someone signs up they land on your Status Page, with their place in line and referral link, or on a page of your site that you choose.
  • Send my Webflow form. For a form you have already designed in Webflow. It keeps working as it does, and each submission also goes to LaunchList. You match each input to a LaunchList field in the panel, so Webflow's default names such as "Email 4" need no renaming, and only the inputs you match are copied.

When Webflow's own form is enough

A Webflow Form Block stores each submission and can email you when one arrives. If a list of addresses is all you need, that is enough, and you do not need LaunchList.

LaunchList is for a list that has to grow on its own. Every person who joins gets a referral link and a place in line, and moves up as the friends they bring join too. A leaderboard can show who is bringing people in, and you decide when each person is let in. A form on its own does none of that.

What the app adds

  • Nothing to paste, nothing added to your pages. The app adds no script, no custom code and no cookie of its own to your published site. The only thing on the page is the Webflow form it drew.
  • A form that looks like your site. Its inputs, labels and button are Webflow's own, in Webflow's classes, so you size, style and move it in the Designer. Text, email, phone, URL, number, long text, wallet address and checkbox fields are supported.
  • Referral credit. When your referral links open a page on your site, they pass through a LaunchList address that keeps the referral code for 30 days, so the person who shared the link is credited when the friend signs up. The cookie lives on LaunchList's address, never on your site.
  • Your Webflow form, as it was. Webflow still shows its success message and keeps its copy of each submission, and your Webflow plan's form limits still apply to it. Only the forms you choose reach LaunchList, and only the inputs you match.
  • The same checks as any signup: duplicates merged into one contact, spam checked on our server, a confirmation email when your form asks for one, and each webhook you have set up. Forms the app adds use Webflow's own bot check, not your project's CAPTCHA.
  • Easy to take off. Remove LaunchList from the site in the panel, disconnect it in LaunchList, or uninstall the app in Webflow. Signups you already have stay in LaunchList.
FAQ

Questions about Webflow and LaunchList

Can I add a waitlist to Webflow?
Yes, with the LaunchList app, coming soon to the Webflow Apps marketplace. Once it is listed, it adds a form for your waitlist to the spot you select on any page, built from Webflow's own form, inputs and button. Each person lands on your Status Page, with their place in line and a referral link, or on a page of your site that you choose. The Webflow setup guide has each step.
Does the app add code to my site?
No. It adds no script and no custom code, and your published pages load nothing from LaunchList. What it adds is a Webflow form whose action is a LaunchList address. You publish it yourself.
Can I keep my own Webflow form?
Yes, once the app is listed. Select a form you built, choose which LaunchList form receives it, and match each of your form's inputs to a LaunchList field, or leave one on Don't copy. Webflow sends a copy of each submission to LaunchList, with only the inputs you matched. Webflow keeps its own copy and shows its own success message.
Do referrals work on a Webflow site?
Yes, with a form the app adds, when your referral links open a page on your Webflow site. The link first opens a LaunchList address that remembers the referral code for 30 days, then sends the visitor on, so the person who shared it is credited when the friend signs up. A form you sent from your own design does not count referrals.
Does the form use my CAPTCHA?
No. Forms the app adds use the bot check Webflow puts on its forms, and LaunchList's spam checks run on every signup on our server. Your CAPTCHA keys apply to your hosted page and embeds.
How do I remove LaunchList from my site?
Select Remove LaunchList from this site in the panel, or disconnect the site in LaunchList, under Embed & API. LaunchList deletes its webhooks and links for the site, and your signups stay. Uninstall the app in Webflow to end its access. The forms you added stay on your pages until you delete them in the Designer, and show visitors a page saying the form isn't connected.
