Quality Time with Santa

We really lucked out and got a lot of one-on-one time with Santa!  Unfortunately, Brody is still not too sure about the jolly old man.  Bridgeport did a drawing for a special train ride with the cutest Santa ever.  We did not win the trip, but the train driver invited us to join while we were out walking around.  Brody loved the ride and even was happy to sit on Santa's lap.  When it was time for pictures, he wanted NO part of Santa.   

Paci Free

One week after Brody's 20 month birthday we decided to take away the paci.  He only used it when going to sleep and never during the day.  We figured it would be easier to take it away now before he becomes too attached.  Brody is doing very well with this new transition but seems to be a little more clingy than normal.  Jen said that he has been asking for mama a lot during the day.  We LOVE our little monkey.... growing up so fast.

Chili Dog

We literally had a "chili-dog" today.  Brody, being the generous and thoughtful kid that he is, decided his doggy would like to have some of his dinner.  He dumped 2 large scoops of chili on Bogey's head.  She did not seem to mind at all, just cleaned up the small amount that made it to the floor.  Bogey may be the most tolerant dog ever.
