It's a BOY

Matt, Brody, and I went to dinner on Friday night to open the card with the sex of our baby.  Matt opened it and whispered in Brody's ear the wrong gender, Brody shouted "girl".   We are excited to announce that our latest addition is a baby BOY!!!  The ultrasound went very well and he is a healthy little guy.  He waved, sucked his thumb, and took a nap during our ultrasound.  He is currently in the 30th percentile for being 20 weeks.  His heart rate was 150 during the ultrasound and 145 for the doctor.  We are very happy to be having another little BOY :)

Brody 22 Month Update

Our late talker is exploding with words!  He can string 2 & 3 words together.  Brody will repeat most things we ask these days.  Brody will tell us what he wants to eat - his two favorites are yogurt (gogurt) and nuts.  He can tell us what familiar objects are called.  He enjoys reading even more now that he can tell us what things are without us prompting him.  My favorite is when he says "love you" in his sweet high pitch tone.  He says funny things to match his actions.  The other day he was sitting on Bogey and bouncing.  He gave her a pat on her head and told her "good girl".  He does say "no no" now when he does not want something which does not always work in our favor.
