Vegas - IGN Business Trip

Matt and I went to Vegas for a business trip with his partner Laurie and her husband.  Matt was attending a large trade show to meet with customers and to buy some new equipment.   We stayed at the very beautiful Bellagio hotel, had fancy dinners, dancing, gambling, shopping and I laid by the pool during the day.   We had a wonderful time but missed the boys like crazy.  

BIG thanks to Grandma & Grandpa for taking such great care of Brody and BIG thanks to Mimi & Papa for creating so much fun for Wesley.  We came home to happy boys; lots of cute Halloween crafts, yummy spider treats and dessert.  

Pumpkin Carving (Round #2)

Thanks Mimi & Papa for being a part of the pumpkin carving!   Papa helped with the set up, Mimi helped create the face with Brody, Matt carved and the boys & I cleaned out the inside. 

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip

Brody had his FIRST field trip and FIRST school bus experience.   He was soooo excited!  It was really fun watching him interact with his friends and seeing him be the social one making sure everyone was included.   It was extremely wet and poured rain the entire time.  Thanks Grandma for joining us and for riding the bus back with Brody so I could catch a flight!  

Boo-Bash and Potter Visit

The kids had the best time at the boo-bash!  Both boys selected a costume out of their dress up bin.  Wesley tried on several outfits before making a decision.  The bounce house was a big hit and doing all the carnival activities for prizes.  Wesley would jump up and down with excitement after he completed each game.  We saw some old friends and made some new friends as well.  

After the party we went to the Potters house for a quick visit.  Brody and Addie are so cute together!!!  They giggled the entire time and had a blast as always.  When it was time to leave Brody gave her a big hug. As we were walking to our car, Addie yells to Brody "I will miss you".  Melted all of our hearts!  Too cute.  They both love bugs and insist that we take pictures of the things they catch to txm each other.

Bright Spot in My Day

Coming home to Wesley is the BEST!!!  Anytime I come home, even if I am out just a short while Wesley does/says these things below multiple times.  LoVe him!
-Runs into garage to greet me before I am even out of my car

-"I am so glad you are home mommy"

-"I missed you mommy"

-"I love you mommy"

-Multiple big hugs, kisses and smiles

Friday Night Fun

We had a last minute get together with some of our favorites.   Such a fun night!  Kids had a good time doing Halloween crafts, glow stick dance/jump on the beds in the dark party, and late night frog hunt.  We had an adult dinner at our new table for the first time.  The McGeachy's made these adorable and delicious spider cookies.  Love our friends!

Brody Firm Foundations School Picture 2014

Brody's Kindergarten school picture.  These were taken on his second day of school so he was still very shy and refused to take off his sweatshirt.  His teacher, Mrs. Walker (on the left in the red skirt), and the other ladies are classroom helpers that are there every day.  We are so pleased with the education, teachers, kids, environment and care he is getting at Firm Foundations.
