Jack's Wedding Reception - The Jack & Kate Show

My best friend of 25 years, Jack (JK), got married to Kate in San Diego just the two of them.  They had their union celebration in the beautiful vortex of Sedona 9.13.14.   Everything about their special day was absolutely perfect!!!     Love you both and could not be happier for you two!  

Rehearsal Dinner (Jack and Kate Show Continued)

Jack's mom hosted a lovely dinner at the most amazing lodge/winery.   We had a great time eating, drinking, dancing and hanging out with wonderful people.

Bell Rock Hike in Sedona (Jack & Kate Show Continued)

Matt and I went on a really pretty hike up Bell Rock (shown behind me in the last picture).  We started on the wrong path because the signs were confusing. It ended up being a very long hike but we had a great time.  

Visit with Good Friends (Jack and Kate Show Continued)

We were able to squeeze in a visit with our good friends Dan and Heidi, they came to visit us from Flagstaff.  It was so much fun catching up and talking about funny memories.  We miss you guys already! 

Grandparents Day at Firm Foundations

Brody was very excited to have BOTH sets of grandparents at his new school, Firm Foundations!  They all made a book together and Brody made them an art project.

The Goddard school sent me this cute picture of Brody and Wesley sneaking in a hug through the fence during their outside time.  They are on separate playgrounds and typically go out at different times.  Miss Suzanne said they were so excited to see each other!  The teachers always comment on how they are such sweet brothers.  

Thank YOU Mimi & Papa

Mimi & Papa watched Brody while we were at Jack & Kate's wedding.  It was non-stop fun activities.  They created the boat pictured above together and let it set sail in the pond.  They played sports, outdoor activities, pool, slip & slide, puzzles, legos, baking, Mimi even jumped on the trampoline, and much more.   Even Bogey was sad to see them go... she packed her treat ball in their bag without anyone knowing, then jumped in their car and refused to get out.  

Thank YOU Grandma & Grandpa

Grandma and Grandpa watched Wesley while we were at Jack & Kate's wedding.  Wesley loved his one-on-one time!  He enjoyed lots of snuggles, Costco trip, playing outside, and eating ice cream.  

Here are a few quotes from his visit:
-Grandpa saved a small bowl of Cheetos for an afternoon snack.  Wesley ate them all and before he went outside he put the empty bowl on the counter and said "I'm putting my bowl here to save it for when you buy more "Cheelos" (his pronunciation).  
-On Sat morning, Grandpa asked Grandma her plan for the day.  Wesley was sitting in the rocking chair watching TV and calmly said, "oh probably Costco".  He sure loves those samples.  
-They all went over to our house to play and have dinner w/ Brody and my parents.  At the end of the night, Wesley wanted to leave so he could have ice cream at Grandma & Grandpa's house.  He says to them "let's hit the road Jack".
