Happy Independence Day!!! We had such a great family day... bike ride, went to a party, fireworks with our fun neighbors and lots of snuggles with our sweet puppy. The last picture is of poor Bogey stressing out in our pantry (we finally got her a blanket bc she refused to come out)... and the reason we stay home on the 4th.
3rd of July Celebration
We went to a BBQ at the Vilhauer's after soccer practice. The kids had the best time jumping on their bounce house and running around playing sports together. At the end of the night Taylor put on a firework show which got several others in the neighborhood to light some off as well. All the kids were chanting "fireworks - fireworks - fireworks"
Pool Fun
We have been LOVING all the 80 - 100 degree days!!! Lots of pool, sprinkler under the trampoline, slip & slide and water fights.
Slip and Slide
Thanks grandma and grandpa for the warm weather back yard slide! They boys have really been enjoying all the water activities. The neighbor girls came over to play one night and suggested putting soap on it to make things really slick since it is a slight incline. Boys loved the extra speed!
1st Soccer Game of the Season
Brody and Austin getting ready for their first game! I should have taken more pictures. Brody scored a goal :)
Sidekick
Brody has been doing a kindergarten readiness program that is 3 hours a day. It has been really good for him and Wesley and I are enjoying our quality time. We were getting ready for our trip and I had no alone time for a pedicure... so Wesley came with me and entertained all the girls. So thankful for our little goofball.
Face Painting Day
Face painting day at school! Wesley requested something from the movie Frozen and Brody requested a snake. During the summer at the boys school, they have a different fun visitor every week. The previous week they had Presto the Magician. They also do water play when the weather is nice and have all kinds of cool activities/crafts planned.
Mustache Party
We went to a really fun party for Matt's softball team - the "Stashes". They had a mustache pinata for the kids filled with candy and a mustache pinata for the adults filled with airplane alcohol bottles. Really great group of people, we had a blast!
