Breakfast with Santa

Breakfast with Santa this year was a blast.  Brody and Elena loved the holiday song we all sang to welcome Santa, story time, the yummy food, hanging out with jolly old Saint Nick, and of course the gifts he brought them.   This time Brody told santa that he wanted a big airplane.  We enjoyed mimosas and watching the kids giggle.

Holiday Fun with Friends

The Bruce family hosted a gingerbread house making party.  The kids had the best time together!!!  Brody spent more time eating the candy than he did decorating his house.... 2 for me, 1 for the house.  The kids are now at an age where they play together which gave us time to drink champagne and visit.  

Zoo Lights

We had a great time at the zoo lights with the McGeachy & Howard families.  It was cute watching the kids play hide and seek, chase each other running through the tunnel screaming... Brody quickly got the high pitch squeal down, and really enjoy being together.  The zoo lights are so magical  - I love it there!!!

Dolf has been a busy little elf this week!   We find him doing some pretty silly things when we wake up.   Brody LOVES to find him every morning and see what he has been up to during the night.

First Night Away

I had to be away for the night due to a work appointment for the first time since Wesley was born (6 months).  It is soooooo hard to be away from my babies!!!  Jen sent me this sweet picture of the boys.  

Quoting Brody

Brody said to me "mommy you have a big big bum".  Funny because I have always wanted a bootie, apparently I now have one.  Time to get serious about running again.

We were out shopping and Brody picked up a pair of shoes and said "mommy these boots are waaaay cute".  The girls working at Nordstrom were laughing so hard.
