Tour De Moon, Moon Convoy

The Moon Convoy rolls into Leicester as part of the Tour De Moon festival bringing with it a fully sustainable armada of vehicles a giant squid named Archie and a large Red telephone to "talk to the moon" among other interactive experiences. The event hopes that by creating a physical space for people to come together as a community, new ideas will be born. The Tour De Moon festival invites you to ask why can’t we imagine a new way of thinking/dreaming/doing?. My film features a look at the Moon Convoy part of the festival and starts with look at the nine meter long archie the squid before moving on to the moon tunnel and giant phone. BBC A Word 1 Year Anniversary - BBC Leicester

I was asked to create a design to feature on a cake and on social media etc celebrating the BBC Radio Leicester Arts show The A Word`s first year on air. The design needed to be simple and easily reproduced with clarity on the icing of the cake so the presenters faces where stylized. The A Word logo created previously by myself was adapted to fit the design and has gained some musical notes to highlight the coverage of new music by local artists that the A Word is also known for.    The end result a cake with my design on top for everyone to enjoy.  Bonus: BBC Presenters. Geeta Pendse And Andy Pierce (AKA: Andy P The Soul Man) hold a card I made wishing the A Word a happy 1st Anniversary on air.

Leicester Riverside Festival 2018

The Leicester Riverside Festival takes place annually along the mile straight of the River Soar featuring music, arts, crafts and activities both on and off the water, for the whole family it`s a great day out for everyone. With a toot of the whistle from the Abbey Pumping Stations traction engine, my film shows some of the many highlights from Sunday at the festival. Look for Bill Bailey`s band playing toe tapping jazz as they travel along the river, the beautiful sound of the sing for water choir and tales of the canals of old England with the Bonnet And Belt theater company among other attractions. There is even an appearance from a strange yellow character not dissimilar to a Muppet riding his tricycle into castle gardens.

London Concertante Rehearsal - Leicester Cathedral

While visiting King Richard III`s Tomb in Leicester Cathedral with relatives from Australia we where treated to a rehearsal performance by the London Concertante Chamber Orchestra who would be performing later that evening by candlelight. In the presence of the king we sat captivated as the sounds of strings and harpsichord filled every part of this historic building I`m sure the king would have certainly approved. Camels Cooking & Christmas Lights

The 17th November saw the switching on of Leicester`s Christmas lights and the city came alive with the sights and sounds of street performers real live Camels and a local food and craft event at Leicesters market. My video aims to capture some of the spirit of the evening with a look at the wide selection of events taking place, look out for the ukulele duet outside Visit Leicester the Snow Queen on her unique transport and the city`s Christmas tree alongside the Clock Tower making for a festive atmosphere as we enter the Christmas period. images follow
