Menphys Christmas Campaign Posters 2012

The Menphys Christmas Campaign for 2012 was based around the idea of presents and Christmas wrapping.  Menphys Grand Christmas Prize Draw 2012 Poster The Menphys Grand Christmas Prize draw poster uses a bold and festive colour scheme of Orange, Red and Green with the words Prize Draw seemingly blasting form the page toward the viewer prizes are listed along the main large ribbon and a tall vintage Art Deco style typeface is used to allow for lots of information to be presented in a narrow space.    Menphys Children for Children Carol Concert Poster 2012 Continuing the presents and wrapping theme with ribbon and stripes the Carol Concert poster uses a more subtle colour scheme making the word Christmas More prominent and the type is angled to give the poster a dynamic style. The poster also includes a QR code allowing interested persons to once again purchase tickets by scanning it with their smartphone.

Garden Party Poster - Menphys

Designed for a charity Garden Party held in aid of Leicester based charity Menphys this poster (designed by me) uses a Retro 1950`s style typeface and pastel colour scheme. At the base of the poster I have used negative space to suggest grass, The design also features two ladybirds sitting on both the letter G and atop the box containing the main event details they look toward each other as if they are engaged in conversation at a party. I have included a QR code at the bottom of the poster linking to a map allowing people to receive directions to the event using their smartphone.

Menphys Walk Poster 2012

I was asked to design a poster for the Menphys walk an annual charity walk taking place on 13th may 2012 in Leicestershire. Taking its cues from last years poster for the 30th walk (also designed by me !) it features an refinement of that years footprint idea giving the poster a 'walked on' look. This motif has been continued onto all associated media for the event including banners and sponsor forms as well as any merchandise such as stickers, water bottles etc. The poster uses the charity's colour scheme of Red Grey & Black & utilizes the Teen typeface to allow the poster to make it easy to read but also portray a fun and playful personality,  The Teen typeface is teamed up with Earwig Factory evoking memories of children`s A is for apple type alphabet posters. The Poster additionally features a QR code to allow interested persons to scan the code with their smartphone triggering a free download of a registration form for the walk creating an incre...

Menphys QR Code Campaign

I created a unique marketing campaign for Leicester charity Menphys. A poster featuring a large QR code was placed in the window of their fundraising office, when this code was scanned (with a compatible smart phone) it directed the person to the charity's official website detailing the charity's work. The window faced Narborough road a main route into the city of Leicester making the chance of interaction with the QR code by pedestrians very high,  The QR code has the potential to greatly raise the profile of the charity in the community it serves & substantially increase the chance of the person becoming an active fundraiser for the charity. The next step in this campaign will see the QR codes being extended across more of the charity's various media outputs providing a quick and easy way for interested people to find more information on an event or even donate directly to the charity though sms.
