  A street art collaboration between Leicester's Graffwerk and Global Street Art to promote the Netflix documentary Untold UK Jamie Vardy . On a wall alongside the Haymarket Bus Station in Leicester , a large artwork has been unveiled featuring former Leicester City Football Club legend Jamie Vardy in the form of an action figure with various shenanigans and accessories, including an energy drink, a broken corner flag, and a football. The Vardy figure is seen cupping his hands behind his ears, a pose he is known for doing on the pitch to fans in the stands. The work itself is a promotion for the Netflix documentary Untold UK, telling the story of Jamie’s career highlights, and As Seen On Netflix is written large on the packaging. With 48 large scale murals across the city Bring The Paint returned bigger and better than ever to Leicester in 2022. In a celebration of graffiti culture, artists from around the world descended on Leicester to bring their unique styles to various locations throughout the East Midlands city. My film features a sample of the festival showing the artists at work and whilst I've not been able to include all 48 works I hope it gives a flavor of the pieces being created by the talented artists. Look out for new takes on well known characters and original works by world class artists and even a 3D piece in the Highcross Shopping Center.

Spinning, Spiraling high above the crowd Heliosphere is presented by the Dream Engine and was the finale to a week of events at Leicester City Festival 2019. During the performance an acrobat suspended beneath a helium balloon explores the uncharted space between street level and rooftops creating the illusion of flying. The performer can go from street level to twenty meters up in a mere moment making for a dynamic and interactive show for the audience. We join the performer and ground crew setting up before she rises into the sky, then marvel as the large helium balloon eclipse the evening sun over Jubilee Square in Leicester what a view of the city she must have from such a height. As she descends to street level children race to give her a (very) high five before she soars high above their heads and performs acrobatic moves. Now a firm highlight of the summer the city festival features performances from a number of touring groups and has a theme each year, 2019`s theme was "out of this world" to coincide with the Apollo 11 50th anniversary and featured aliens, Super Heroes and Robots among other things.
