It may be winter with temperatures getting lower every day but that didn't deter these surfers catching the waves on a Devon beach in 2013. The sea was rough, waves large and the low winter sun (although shining brightly) provided little warmth to the surfers at they entered the water. Out in the middle of the estuary the braver surfers rode the large waves around wolf rock whilst paddle boarders and other surfers found ample sized waves to ride in the bay of North Sands beach. The Salcombe Town Regatta is held yearly in the small town of Salcombe in Devon famed for its local crab and popular with holiday makers. The week long town regatta includes many traditional seaside events such as a sandcastle competition, spot the bloomer and a very popular firework display usually on the penultimate day of the event. My video (filmed from South Sands beach just outside the town) affords the viewer an alternative angle on the 2013 display with Salcombe castle silhouetted against the bright colours of the display.

My short film following one person (my Dad) as he attempts to windsurf in high waves and sub zero temperatures at South Sands beach in Salcombe Devon. The wind was blowing and as much of the country shivered in sub zero temperatures and several inches of snow Windsurfer Mike Spencer of Leicester set out to conquer the waves of the South Sands beach in Salcombe South Devon.

My short film follows Pannier Tank 1369 as it travels along a short section of the South Devon Railway. We join the engine steaming on a chilly march morning in 2013 as it waits to depart from Buckfastleigh Station, We then follow the service as it passes through the beautiful South Devon countryside briefly stopping at the country station of Staverton before continuing on to Totnes.

Liskeard to Looe by Steam Railmotor follows the GWR Steam Railmotor along the Liskeard to Looe branch line in Cornwall on remembrance Sunday 2012. My video features the train as it powers through a number of locations along the branch line at different times of the day.

This was a poster was designed by me in 2008 for an Annual Funday event at southern mill caravan site in Salcombe Devon where I`ve spent many a memorable holiday !. The poster uses a sketchy style that reflects the rural nature of the area and the fact the event was aimed at children. The funday itself included a number of traditional 'events' such as duck races and treasure hunts the event was held in aid of the Devon air ambulance.
