Luxmuralis The Elements - Leicester Cathedral

Luxmuralis returned to  @LeicesterCathedral  with their show The Elements following the success of SPACE Luxmuralis gave visitors the chance to witness fiery volcanoes, be immersed in the oceans whilst remaining dry !, and take to the skies. Watch as the natural world evolves around you. be enveloped by each element and witness the transformation of Leicester Cathedral as we contemplate our planet and the environment in which we live. As we approach the first part we see birds flying around and the collums and arches of the cathedral illuminated in blues and reds. moving through the cathedral we reach King Richard III`s tomb which is lit a deep red and the wall in front of his grave features a lava themed projection representing a volcano erupting with related sound effects. STORM, By Vision Mechanics Leicester City Festival

Over the August bank holiday weekend a giant sea goddess roamed the streets of Leicester, Her name was STORM and she came with a message to protect our seas. STORM, Created by Vision Mechanics, is a ten meter tall goddess of the sea who emerges from the deep to celebrate our seas and encourage us to put the environment first. Two years in the making and made entirely from recycled materials, the giant puppet visited Leicester as part of the annual city festival in 2022. We find her resting in The Circle wrapped in fishing nets and man made waste before she is released by a group of people in yellow storm coats and serenaded by Taiko Drums beating traditional Japanese rhythms before she begins her tour of the city streets. She soon arrives at Town Hall Square where the Extreme Mountain Bike Show is taking place alongside other Ride Leicester attractions. Moving into the city center three swallows surround her and guide her to the Clock Tower area where she passes a fun fair. At the Cloc...

Tour De Yorkshire - Bridlington to Scarborough

I traveled to Yorkshire to see stage 3 of the #TourDeYorkshire from Bridlington to Scarborough. My film begins at the start of the stage in a very wet Bridlington where we see the teams preparing the bikes for the race and a rather random sea (or shoud that be land ?) Captain and his first mate. The action continues in the picturesque village of Hackness where the riders face a steep hairpin climb before reaching the finish line on a dramatically stormy Scarborough seafront. The Tour of Yorkshire is a 4 day professional cycle race taking in all 4 corners of the English county, featuring professional riders from various international teams, The race itself speeds it`s way through some of Britain`s most beautiful countryside and takes in 150 villages, towns and cities along its entire route.
