Notes:
For PCB fabrication, we require PCB design file in Gerber RS-274X format (most preferred), *.PCB/DDB (Protel, inform your program version) format or *.BRD (Eagle) format. For PCB assembly, we require PCB design file in above mentioned format, drilling file and BOM. Design the process around the real requirement

Choose the family before the grade

Start with the problem the laminate must solve: assembly heat exposure, sustained temperature, signal loss, heat removal or a rigid-flex bonding interface. These are different requirements. A high glass-transition temperature does not automatically provide low RF loss, and an IMS dielectric is not the same construction as an ordinary multilayer core.

Use the material library below to move from the family decision to an exact product and drawing. The current Ventec portfolio separates standard FR-4, lead-free assembly, polyimide, tec-thermal, tec-speed and flex-rigid materials. Confirm the product form as well as the name.

Compare a buildable stack rather than isolated numbers

Define finished dielectric separations, copper weights and foil type with the intended process. For PCB impedance control on fast channels, include the frequency band, transmission-line geometry and allowed loss. For thermal boards, include the cooling boundary and the required circuit-to-base isolation.

The early workbench collects these open questions. Its electrical-length calculation uses user-supplied effective permittivity; it does not assign a brand-wide Dk. A reviewed stackup and suitable verification coupon provide a stronger basis than a generic material table.

Make supplier evaluation evidence-based

Ask what material will be purchased, how the grade and lot will be recorded, which fabrication steps need development and what inspection records accompany delivery. State whether a substitute is prohibited or may be proposed for approval.

PCBSync can review a project request against the supplied files and requirements. Photographs help explain board construction, but they cannot establish laminate authenticity or application qualification. Use a prototype or controlled qualification build to close the technical gaps before repeat production.

Create a reviewable manufacturing request

Attach the controlled drawing, material callout and the source document used for this decision. Identify mandatory requirements separately from options that PCBSync may propose. Keep the layer construction, finished thickness, copper foil, finish, outline and quantity in one revision-controlled package. If assembly is needed, add the BOM, placement data and thermal-process constraints.

Use the workbench to record the prepared items and open questions. A useful quotation should identify the proposed construction, availability, inspection evidence and exceptions. A repeat order should reference the released material configuration; a similar product name or unchanged Gerber file does not independently authorize a material substitution.

Keep the review concrete

Include these requirements in your enquiry

01

Exact Ventec grade, product form and document revision

02

Application temperature, frequency or heat-flow boundary

03

Layer stack, copper foil and finished thickness

04

Required material, dimensional and test records

05

Fabrication and assembly files with revision

06

Quantity, timing and permitted alternatives

Mark unresolved items explicitly. Ask the quotation to identify proposed exceptions, required customer approvals and any inspection or special-process charges that remain open.

Ventec PCB FAQ

What is the key selection issue for Ventec PCB?

Ventec is a laminate and prepreg manufacturer. A Ventec PCB is a fabricated board built to an agreed material construction; the brand name alone does not define its thermal, RF or reliability performance.

What should accompany the quotation request?

Choose a Ventec material route for your PCB, define the stackup and prepare a manufacturing request with traceable requirements. Explore FR-4, polyimide, IMS and high-frequency design decisions. Add the source datasheet, fabrication revision, quantity, delivery requirement and any permitted alternatives.

Can the online planner approve this construction?

No. The planner organizes requirements or calculates the entered scenario. It neither authenticates material identity nor checks fabrication files. Engineering review and the agreed verification determine suitability.

Do the photographs prove the specified material grade?

No. These are real board-construction examples from the media library. Grade identity requires the approved material specification and traceable supply records.
