Quote: Email your PCB files to [email protected] (Preferred for large files) or submit online. We will contact you promptly. Please ensure your email is correct.
Notes: For PCB fabrication, we require PCB design file in Gerber RS-274X format (most preferred), *.PCB/DDB (Protel, inform your program version) format or *.BRD (Eagle) format. For PCB assembly, we require PCB design file in above mentioned format, drilling file and BOM. Click to download BOM template To avoid file missing, please include all files into one folder and compress it into .zip or .rar format.

01 / Start with the specification
A quality plan that matches your board.
A good inspection result is meaningful only when it refers to the right revision and agreed limits. Send the controlled fabrication drawing, BOM, assembly drawing and any customer-specific requirements with your RFQ.
01Freeze the inputs
Drawing, BOM, firmware and approved substitutions.
02Agree acceptance
Applicable documents, revisions, class and tolerances.
03Set the test scope
Methods, sampling, fixtures and release hold points.
04Review the records
Link results to the inspected board, unit or lot.
05Release to ship
Close discrepancies and confirm outgoing documentation.
Which IPC document?IPC-6012 addresses rigid bare-board qualification and performance; IPC-A-600 addresses bare-board acceptability. J-STD-001 covers soldered assembly requirements, while IPC-A-610 addresses electronic assembly acceptability. Agree the applicable document, revision and class for your order. A Class 3 request needs review; it is not established by selecting a checkbox. Compare Class 2 and Class 3.
02 / Bare-board fabrication
PCB quality control: material to finished circuit.
Focus the fabrication review on the characteristics that affect your design: material identity, copper and plating, geometry, interconnect integrity and electrical continuity.
Confirm the specified laminate, copper, stackup and surface finish. Identify material substitutions or construction changes before acceptance.
In process
Geometry & interconnect integrity
Define critical dimensions, hole and plating requirements, and the microsection measurements needed for your construction. Coupon choice and sampling belong in the inspection plan.
Electrical
100% bare-board electrical test
Check boards for opens and shorts against the agreed test data and criteria. This is a bare-board connectivity check; it does not demonstrate the function of an assembled product.
Align visual and dimensional acceptance, test records, identification and packaging with the order. Add impedance results or other project-specific evidence when required.
Resolve approved part numbers, orientation, moisture handling and customer-supplied material responsibilities. Agree first-article review and any hold point before the rest of the batch.
Choose inspection stages to match the package mix and process risk. SPI checks paste deposits; AOI inspects visible features; X-ray can help assess joints hidden beneath packages.
Test & program
Electrical checks plus functional validation
Agree access, fixtures, firmware, stimulus, loads and pass/fail limits. Functional testing is available; actual coverage and the number of units tested must be defined for the order.
Review the accepted assembly revision, test outcome, rework/retest status and specified labeling. Include coating, programming or cleanliness records when these are part of the agreed scope.
03 / Electronic assembly
PCBA quality control: a board that meets its test plan.
A visually acceptable assembly still needs the electrical and functional checks appropriate to its circuit. Build the inspection plan around the failure modes that matter to your product.
Circuit-board assembly positioned in a test fixture.
Specific insulation or solder-wetting requirements.
Applicability, method, samples and limits. These are separate tests, not interchangeable release checks.
05 / Evidence for your supplier file
Request the records your team will actually use.
PCBSync provides IPC-based outgoing reports and test reporting. Agree the record format, measurements, lot identification and required attachments during order review.
Inspection & test documentation
Outgoing inspection report
Order / board revision, inspection basis, checked characteristics and disposition.
Bare-board electrical-test report
Lot association, test method and recorded result; confirm any data fields your receiving team needs.
Microsection test report
Cross-section images and agreed measurements. Confirm coupon location, sample count and lot coverage.
Functional-test report
Assembly and firmware revision, procedure, tested functions and limits. Agree unit or lot reporting and test coverage.
Supplier qualification
UL & ISO 9001
Review the documents against the entity, manufacturing site and product construction relevant to your order.
UL: request the applicable file and recognized construction scope.
ISO 9001: request the certificate, issuing body, scope and validity.
Customer requirements: flag additional approvals or audit documents before ordering.
These credentials support supplier review. Product acceptance still depends on the agreed specifications and inspection evidence.
Keep approval records usable. Request a first-article record for a new build, measurement results for critical features, and any required customer report template. The report set should be agreed before production, including chargeable testing or special documentation.
06 / Interactive supplier-review tool
Build a quality review brief.
Turn your project needs into a practical checklist for our team. This tool runs in your browser; nothing is sent until you submit the inquiry form.
Your review brief
A clear starting point for your RFQ.
Requested checks are subject to project review. This is not an inspection result, accepted test plan or engineering approval.
Select the service and requirements for your project.
07 / Change control & traceability
Connect the shipment to its build history.
Define the traceability depth your receiving, field-service or audit team needs. Lot-level tracking and unit serialization serve different purposes; specify the requested level and record-retention period in the order review.

08 / When a discrepancy is found
Make the issue traceable. Close the loop.
Provide the order and lot reference, affected quantity, board revision, photos and the observed symptom or test result. Keep affected material identified so the issue can be investigated against the build and acceptance records.
Contain & review
Identify affected material and agree the immediate disposition.
Investigate & correct
Use the available evidence to review the cause and corrective action.
Verify & release
Agree rework or other resolution and the necessary reinspection / retest.
Published quality guarantee & after-sales policy
We guarantee the quality of every order. If your products fail to meet specifications, we will provide rework or refund. To initiate a claim, submit a complaint within 5 business days of delivery. Our after-sales team will respond within 1-3 business days. For manufacturing defects, PCBsync provides free repair or rework at no cost, including return shipping.
PCBSync confirms 100% electrical testing for bare PCBs. Agree the test data, criteria and reporting needed for the order. This does not mean that every operating mode of a populated assembly has been functionally tested.
Can I request functional testing on my PCBA order?
Yes. Provide the test specification, firmware, interface information, loads and acceptance limits. Fixtures, programming, unit coverage and the report format are reviewed as part of the scope and quotation.
Will I receive a microsection image for every board?
Microsection testing examines a prepared cross-section, commonly from a representative coupon or sample. Confirm the sampling plan, features measured and lot coverage. It should not be interpreted as a cross-section of every delivered board.
What should I check on UL and ISO 9001 documents?
Check the relevant entity and site, applicable scope, validity and issuing or listing details. For UL, confirm that the construction needed for your board is covered by the applicable file. Request the documents as part of supplier qualification.
How do I specify IPC Class 2 or Class 3?
State the required class together with the applicable document and revision, controlled drawings and any customer exceptions. PCBSync must review the construction and acceptance requirements before the order is accepted.
Which files help define a useful quality plan?
Send the fabrication and assembly drawings, BOM revision and critical dimensions. For PCBA, add programming and test requirements. Include required reports, traceability, packaging, first-article approvals and any customer inspection template.
10 / Continue your technical review
Connect quality requirements to the right service.
